The Zambia Forestry College (ZFC) is a government owned institution under the Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources. The college, located in Kitwe, offers quality training in forestry, natural resources, and environment management that meets local and international standards. The College has been in existence for more than 50 years during which it has developed and maintained excellence across a broad spectrum of the forestry discipline.

The College provides agro-forestry skills and capabilities necessary for forestry management by training Foresters at diploma level, Forest Rangers at certificate level and conducts in service programmes for the Forestry Departments' staff.

The ZFC is responsible for contributing to the achievement of provision of quality education and training in environment and natural resources in order to contribute to their effective management and sustainable development and utilisation.
